Todd Patrick Livingston
- Dobro
Todd is a red-haired lazy buddhist smart-ass who loves all music,
good and bad. Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, he currently
lives in Nashville by way of Colorado. Todd has played dobro for
over 10 years and is both self-taught and taught by others. He
roomed with grammy-winning dobro-player Sally Van Meter while
living in Colorado where he started the internationally- known
touring band Hit & Run Bluegrass. He has played with Jerry
Douglas, Jim Lauderdale, Cowboy Troy and Trent Tomlinson. Todd
plays the dobro, pedal steel, electric guitar and banjo as well
as writes and sings his own music. Regarding Ralph 2, Todd admires
his ability to connect emotionally to a song and deliver it in
a way that strikes a chord with people.
Donnie "PeeWee"
Lambert - Upright and Clevinger
bass
Donnie exploded onto the musical scene after his start as a lowly
vintage instrument collector. He has rocked stages both on and
off (once due to excessive cussing) with such greats as Claude
Jenkins and the Corn Cob Mafia. Thanks to humble family connections
including a daddy who was homestead-adjacent to the Carters and
a Buckaroo cousin on Hee Haw, Donnie has been playing upright
bass for 10 years and selling used cars in between sets. These
days he prefers playing his Clevinger, or stick bass, which he
claims has the most true tone of any electric bass on the market.
Career-wise, the only thing young Donnie has ever won is a fishing
pole at a raffle: however, he has a propensity for talking his
way out of speeding tickets, a talent that should serve the boys
well on the road. Donnie likes playing for Ralph 2 because "he
don' t try to sing fancy so it sounds real good."
